Citra 100 is a well-known Indian brand name for Tramadol Hydrochloride 100 mg, an opioid pain reliever (manufactured by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries). It’s a prescription-only medicine.

Composition

• Active ingredient: Tramadol Hydrochloride – 100 mg per tablet

Uses

• Treatment of moderate to moderately severe pain — post-surgical pain, injury-related pain, cancer pain, chronic musculoskeletal pain, and other conditions where non-opioid analgesics haven’t given adequate relief.

How it works
Tramadol has a dual mechanism:
